• Emirates baggage restrictions 
  • Emirates has baggage restrictions based on your route, fare, travel class and membership tier. Economy and premium economy passengers can take only one carry-on bag on board. First- and business-class passengers, however, can take one carry-on bag and a briefcase or garment bag. The acceptable dimensions and weight of the baggage vary based on the highlighted factors. The checked baggage allowance ranges from 44 to 77 pounds, but passengers can purchase extra allowance to carry more. You cannot pack items prohibited by civil aviation regulations, such as weapons, pointed objects and flammable liquids.
• Changing, upgrading and canceling your booking
  • You can change, upgrade or cancel your booking any time if it is eligible via the Emirates Manage Booking online portal. You just need to enter your booking details and follow the on-screen instructions to change or upgrade your flight. You may have to pay the difference if the fare exceeds your initial booking. Cancellations are available only on unused tickets before the travel date. Canceled tickets can attract a penalty fee unless you cancel seven days before departure. 
• Filing claims for lost, damaged or delayed baggage
  • You can file a claim for delayed or damaged baggage. Emirates offers interim relief compensation to passengers who report missing baggage to help them purchase essentials such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap and shampoo. The airline will also compensate you if you declare lost or damaged baggage, but you must report the baggage at the Emirates office before leaving the airport or within seven days of leaving.
