The Best Stores to Shop On Black Friday in July
These days, Amazon isn’t the only retailer offering some of the biggest mid-year discounts and deals. Some of the world’s biggest stores are taking part in the festivities and launching their own sales to compete. What does that mean? Shoppers everywhere win. Below, I’ve put together the best stores to shop for Black Friday in July 2019.
Walmart is going head-to-head with Amazon once again. Some of the biggest Amazon deals are on its own products like the Echo Dot. Walmart is following suit with its “Google Week” and marking down popular Google tech like Google Home, Google Home Mini and select Nest products. Walmart is also discounting Apple devices if you’re in the market for some of the latest tech toys. You can also get TVs for a few hundred dollars off during the sale.
Dell is slashing prices as much as 40% on laptops and as high as 60% on electronics. You’ll need to hurry though because some of the deals are only available in certain quantities. If you’ve been eyeing a laptop, now is the time to make your purchase. When browsing the Dell store, I found a lot of unexpected items like portable speakers and headphones – all available at big discounts.
Belk is holding a huge Black Friday in July sale. Save up to 75% on doorbusters for men, women and kids like shirts, pants, shoes and accessories. You’ll also find major deals on home goods. Plus, Belk is offering 20% off regular and sale purchases to help you save even more. If you spend more than $49, you’ll be eligible for free shipping.
Target’s version of Black Friday in July is called “Deal Days.” The big event runs from July 15 to 16, but you can shop early-access deals right now. Currently, you can save on pool accessories, patio furniture, camping and outdoor gear, and lawn and garden goods. When the larger sale starts on the 15th, it’ll be online only, so get ready to click.
There are obviously plenty of other stores that will be holding their own sales, but this list should give you a head start. We’ve also heard that Kohl’s, Macy’s and JCPenney will be offering their own Black Friday in July discounts on clothing, jewelry and home accessories.
