As with every holiday sale, certain items get bigger discounts than others. Below, I’ve pulled together the five best things to buy during Memorial Day sales. The best part? When it comes to discounted, big-ticket items, appliances generally top the list during Memorial Day sales. Home improvement stores like Lowe’s, Ace Hardware and Home Depot are notorious for deeply discounting washers and dryers, fridges, and ranges in the neighborhood of 20% to 30%. Best Buy is another place where you’ll find big savings. If you have a Best Buy card, you’ll also have access to special financing.
