The Best Hand & Power Tool Deals to Look For on Black Friday
For those of you who wait for Black Friday deals to pick up tools for work or house projects, you can be sure that there will be many online and in-person deals throughout the holiday season.
Where should I shop for tools?
Our recommendations for online shopping for power tool set deals are Lowe’s and Home Depot, as obvious choices, but one you may not have realized has great deals all year round for tool items is Overstock.com. For door buster sales happening in-person (and online), check out Ace Hardware. Tools Today is a great source for really specific bits, blades and other pieces for your special projects. Acme Tools has Black Friday specials for hand tool sets, power tools and more that are already live, if you just can’t wait.

Lowe’s
Last year, Lowe’s offered 25% to 50% off tool sets and power tools of the DeWalt brand, and we expect to see the same in upcoming sales. Lowe’s recently released its Black Friday 2020 Ad, and it’s called the Season of Savings Event. It starts online on Thanksgiving Day, November 26 at 1 AM and lasts until December 2, but note that Lowe’s stores will be closed on Thanksgiving. In this year’s ad, you’ll find 28 pages of deals on tools, home goods, holiday decor, gifts and more, plus bonus savings of up to $700 off select major appliances and free local delivery on major appliances of $299 or more.
