Rakuten, Where is My Cash Back?
Cash Back is a great thing… when you know if you got it, where it is and when it’s coming. We know it can be frustrating when it seems like someone hasn’t held up their end of the bargain, but when we promise Cash Back, we mean it.
To help, we’ve answered some of the most common questions below. So, look here before you start worrying about your missing Cash Back and wondering, “Where is my Cash Back?”
One of the most common mistakes is forgetting to activate Cash Back. You come across a pair of boots you simply cannot and will not live without. You immediately add them to you cart, enter your memorized credit card number and BOOM. They’re yours. Oh, crap… the Cash Back.
See, if you had the Cash Back Button added to your browser, that never would’ve happened in the first place. It will literally popup like a whack a mole game when you’re on a participating merchant site, and we will be waiting there patiently until you activate your glorious Cash Back.
Other times, things get a bit confusing for us. A few common situations are…
You’re shopping on three different sites at once. We can handle a lot, but we don’t know where to give the Cash Back when it’s offered on all three of those sites.
You’re hopping around to different browsers.
You’re waiting too long after activating Cash Back to complete your purchase.
You’re looking for Cash Back on categories and products for which we just can’t offer. P.S. Don’t worry – we’re working hard to offer Cash Back EVERYWHERE.
You want instant gratification, but some stores just need a bit more time to report the order information we need to give you Cash Back.
💡Pro tip: Activate Cash Back after you’ve finalized your shopping list and before adding items to your cart then checking out.
