Camp Chef was founded in 1990 when founder Ty Measom discovered a void in the outdoor cooking industry. Out of pure frustration, while trying to cook for two dozen hungry scouts on a single flimsy stove—the idea of Camp Chef was born. For almost 30 years we’ve progressively created a better way to cook outdoors. Our product line has expanded from stoves, to camp ovens, to cast iron, all the way to top-of-the-line pellet grills, and more.
