Salt-N-Pepa are widely regarded as one of the greatest rap duos of all time. With over 15 million records sold, the First Ladies of Rap helped break barriers for women in the genre. Preaching body positivity and independence, the group released five certified gold and platinum albums and won a Grammy in 1995. To continue honoring their legacy, we’re proud to present our new collaboration with Salt-N-Pepa, inspired by the iconic jackets they wore in the '90s. The Sport Lite features a white leather upper contrasted by red, green, and yellow accents reminiscent of the paneling on the jackets. The heels of the shoes display the initials S & P, while the tongue features the Salt-N-Pepa logo. We couldn’t just stop there—we had to push it! The sneakers include a gold rope chain dubrae and come with extra laces inspired by kente kufi hats, both of which the girls often wore.
